MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS 


NHTEC aims to provide its members with the following:

 

  • Free newsletters/up-dates by email;
  • Discounts on all clinics/events run by NHTEC;
  • Free advice on behaviour/training issues - by email with

    personal response;

  • The opportunity to train with international trainers;
  • Approximately 12 horse meetings a year, plus other non-horse

    events, lectures, vet evenings etc.

 

Benefits of Membership

The opportunity to:

  • Receive benefits and discounts provided by the British Horse Society for Riding

              Club members;

  • Participate or spectate in horse training clinics;
  • Bring equines to training sessions at Running Free Farm, the NHTEC centre;
  • Visit members’ premises to watch other equines being trained;
  • Attend fun days, Dressage, Jumping, Gymkhana/Le Trec style, In-hand Showing,

              etc;

  • Attend social events;
  • Attend hacking and group trail rides;
  • Receive the support of fellow members and share knowledge and experience;
  • Attend training days by outside instructors at reduced rates;
  • New members, HOME VISITS - If required someone from the Committee will

              arrange to visit you and your equine(s) to discuss any problems/concerns you have

              about behaviour/welfare/training issues - cost from £10

COST OF ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP

 

New Membership:  £30.00

including a £5.00 joining fee 

 

Membership Renewal:  £25.00 per annum 

 

 

Membership Renewal:  £35.00 per annum

It is the Clubs’ policy to send newsletters and updates by email so please supply us with an address.  If you do not have access to email try to get someone to receive them on your behalf.  You can also purchase hard copies of the newsletters and updates, however, the cost of production is high - a full years supply of printed newsletters and updates are available for an additional £10 per annum, which includes postage.

 

Please note:  The Committee reserves the right to refuse membership or to terminate membership if it is found that the individual concerned has brought the name of the Club into disrepute especially on equine welfare grounds. The Club will of course take all reasonable steps to resolve any issues with individuals before refusing/terminating membership.
