NHTEC Home Venue - Running Free Farm, Aylmerton
The club is very grateful to Johanna and Colin for the continued used of the facilities at Running Free Farm, which include a round pen and a mile long grass race track which doubles as a movement paddock for Johanna’s horses:
A full sized indoor arena with sand and rubber floor
Horse Mountain
Stalls for visiting equines
Sand Roll
Directions to Running Free Farm from Norwich:
Leave Norwich on the A140 signposted to Cromer
At Roughton (approx 1/2 hour drive after leaving Norwich) turn left at the second mini roundabout signposted B1436 to Sheringham (and Felbrigg Hall National Trust property)
Follow this road past the Felbrigg Hall entrance and down a slight hill (on a clear day you can see the sea ahead)
At the end of the road (you now join the A148 signposted to Holt and Sheringham) turn left
Follow the road for approx 1/2 mile and you will see a Merco garage and the Roman Camp Inn (both on your left)
Turn left (by the side of the Roman Camp Inn) into Church Road, travel for approx 1 mile and Running Free Farm can be found on the left just past some converted Flintstone barns
